O2 3 months free home broadband offer returns
O2 has relaunched its 3 months free offer on its home broadband packages.
The offer is available on all home broadband packages: The Basics, All Rounder and The Works, starting at £8.50, £12.50 and £21.00 per month respectively for O2 customers. The 3 months free broadband offer is only available on 12 month contracts however and not on 30 day contract plans.
The Basics package has a 20GB usage and is aimed at those who will use it for basic surfing and email. With a 20GB usage, it would however be enough for downloading occasional music or small movie files, however it isn’t marketed as such.
The All Rounder and The Works packages don’t carry a usage limt and come with a higher spec Wireless box, and are generally aimed at users who will download lots of music and movies.
The Works package also carries a higher upload speed (up to 2.5Meg). There is a usage limit however on these packages, however this will probably only apply to the heaviest of downloaders.
O2 recently came second in the J.D. Power 2011 UK Fixed Broadband ISP study and top in the Mobile Broadband category just last week.
