TalkTalk reduces contract length to 12 months, extends half-price broadband

Manoj Solanki, Tuesday February 1, 2011 - 10:38 PM

TallkTalk’s offer of 6 months half-price broadband on the TalkTalk Essentials Broadband package has been extended for 7 days and is now available until 7th February.

TalkTalk Essential offers broadband with a 40GB usage, line rental and unlimited evening and weekend calls to UK landlines.  A free wireless router is also included.

The offer reduces the price of broadband to £3.49 per month for the first 6 months, after which it reverts back to £6.99.  Line rental costs £12.30 per month, bringing the total cost to £15.79 for the first 6 months.  The discounted price is applied via a credit on the first 6 monthly bills.

Free connection (usually £29.99) is available on this and the Plus package when new customers buy online.

TalkTalk has also reduced the minimum contract length from 18 to 12 months on both of these packages.
