Nokia to enter mobile broadband market with 3G mini-laptop

Mobile manufacturer Nokia has announced that it will be entering the PC and broadband market with the Nokia Booklet 3G.

The ultra-thin 10-inch mini-laptop weighs just 1.25 kilograms and offers a very impressive 12 hours of battery life. It will be powered by the popular Intel Atom processor, currently used in many netbooks.

Other features include an HDMI video out port and a front facing camera for video calling.  Integrated 3G/HSPA technology offers users access to mobile broadband services on the move as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

There is an integrated GPS feature which works with Nokia’s Ovi services to pinpoint your position and access maps. The Ovi suite can be used for synchronising with a Nokia smartphone.
