Orange may sell Apple MacBook with mobile broadband

Manoj Solanki, Thursday March 26, 2009 - 5:12 PM

According to reports, an exclusive deal is close that will see Orange selling MacBooks as one of their laptop bundles.

Assuming the deal goes ahead, consumers would be able get hold of a brand new MacBook for a flat monthly fee.  It is also likely to include a free Orange Mobile Broadband dongle and a subscription to their mobile broadband service.

Users should probably expect a 24 month contract period as with most other laptop and mobile broadband deals.

Current laptop deals from Orange include the popular Asus 901 Eee PC at £24 per month.  It also offers the Toshiba L300 and HP Compaq Mini 700, the latter of which is also offered by Three.

A deal may be concluded by summer according to the latest rumours.
