Wholesale broadband chief to leave BT
Manoj Solanki, Thursday June 28, 2007 - 12:11 PMPaul Reynolds, a key player in developing BT’s wholesale broadband division, is to leave the company in September 2007.
Dr Paul Reynolds will be taking up a new post as CEO of Telecom New Zealand. He is credited with key roles in a number of high-profile business projects, not least BT’s wholesale broadband service, which has over 10 million total connections.
He was also involved in setting up BT’s Openreach division and played a key part in leading the development of BT’s new 21CN network, an IP only network that will carry voice and data traffic.
He joined BT in 1983 and worked in various parts of the company including forecasting, marketing and product management before becoming managing director of networks and information services, from which he then progressed to become a chief executive of BT Wholesale.
