BT Wholesale launches white label communications service

Manoj Solanki, Tuesday May 8, 2007 - 12:11 PM

BT today announced the launch of a white label managed service that includes broadband and telephony.

The service is aimed at communications providers and resellers who can offer their own branded telephony, broadband and IT products to customers. This broad array of services will allow companies to offer bundled services to customer. BT also states that one in five consumers in the UK now take out broadband as part of a bundled package, so offering bundled services can allow communications providers to differentiate themselves in this competitive market.

All white label services will be managed and maintained by BT Wholesale. In addition to this, BT Wholesale will also manage a web based order process, customer billing and customer support.

Brian Fitzpatrick, managing director of BT Wholesale said in a statement:

“Consumers and businesses are increasingly drawn to communications providers that can make their lives simpler by combining their broadband, telephony and IT into one package. For communications providers to gain competitive advantage by moving into the market for multi-play services, they must move quickly and find a way to reduce the risks and costs associated with entering a new market nationally. White Label Managed Services from BT Wholesale can help them to achieve this and plan their business with certainty. In effect, BT Wholesale can create new integrated service providers in just a matter of weeks.”
