BE offers 9-month contract broadband for a limited time

Manoj Solanki, Thursday September 3, 2009 - 12:55 PM

Broadband provider BE is currently offering a 9-month contract instead of the usual 12 on its mid-range and top-end broadband service.

The Broadband Unlimited and Pro packages cost £17.50 and £21.50 per month respectively.  Both carry a maximum line speed of 20Mbps.

Although slightly pricier than many rivals, Be has a good reputation for reliability and customer service.  A sentiment echoed about its owner O2, who use BE’s ADSL2-based network to provide their own broadband service.

BE’s offer will also appeal to students as the offers come in time for the start of the first term of university.  Broadband is fast becoming a pre-requisite for many students, particularly those at university.
