Talk Talk add two new broadband and phone bundles

Talk Talk have added two new bundles that have inclusive UK mobile phone calls.

The new packages are variations of the two main packages; Talk2 International and Talk3 International.  The “Total” packages include 100 minutes worth of calls to UK mobiles for a few extra pounds.  On Talk2 this excludes daytime calls while Talk3 is anytime.  The minutes must be used within the month and will not rollover to the next month.

The standard rate for calling UK mobiles is 12p peak and 7p Off peak on TalkTalk packages.  Assuming you would pay at least 7p per minute for a mobile call on one of the normal packages, this would cost £7, so for around £3 to £4 extra per month, a customer may save at least £3.  This assumes the customer is very likely to make at least 100 minutes of calls to UK mobiles.

Talk2 Total costs £19.99 per month and Talk3 Total is £24.99 per month.  All packages also include the wired modem, up to 8 Meg broadband and the usual 18 month contract.  More information at the TalkTalk website.
